Founder's WallThis wall in the main bay features a set of fire doors that were repurposed from the back of the building. The four round medallions reflect the company’s founding role in National Selected Morticians. The two bronze plaques feature founders Frank W. Flanner and Charles J. Buchanan.
Family Gathering RoomA space to say goodbye to a loved one…fixing a loved-one’s hair…or witnessing a cremation on the video screen.
Art FlourishesGreat attention was given to providing an inspirational art experience throughout the building. This oil painting entitled “Lilacs” is by Indianapolis artist Amy Carroll. Chandeliers were inspired by the mid-century period of the architecture.
Cubicles Assembled
Life-size GraffitiOur IT staff asked for a graffiti image for their wall. Bruce Buchanan responded with a photograph he took in the Broad Ripple neighborhood.
